According to a 1994 Congressional Task Force report, in the year 2000, 40% of functionally dependent Americans will be less than 65 years old.  These people will require long-term care services even if they remain at home. No one is exempt from illness or injury, regardless of race, sex, creed or color; hence, we should be as prepared as we possibly can.
